Knotty & Board was born out of a love for beautiful homes, interior design, and Southern charm. What began as a passion for more retail options in North Charlotte quickly became one of Lake Norman's most beloved destinations for furniture, decor, and interior design. We have 2 stores in Lake Norman - our Davidson store is on Main Street in a historic 2 story home and focuses on decor & lifestyle gifts. Our Langtree/Mooresville store is a warehouse that functions as a retail space loaded with furniture focused on NC made upholstery, large scale decor, art and more. Michael Fournier, a Naval Academy graduate, & Kim, a long time mortgage originator, founded Knotty and Board in 2020 when Michael started refurbishing furniture during the early days of the pandemic. Our 2 stores represent all things HOME & GIFT and our online store focuses on the best of the best in decor, pillows, art, candles, kitchen, dining, entertaining, barware, gourmet food & drinks plus gifts.
